Chocolate Nut butter Protein Pops

Leif found the popsicle molds over the weekend and was pretty set on popsicles so I did what any adoring mama would do–we made smoothie-sicles with only the good stuff.  He LOVED them.  He ate two for breakfast on Sunday morning and one as a snack later in the day.  The best part is, there isn’t any crap.  Nothing.  Each pop has about 2 servings of greens and is loaded with healthy fats and protein.

Recipe makes about 6 pops


  • 2 bananas
  • 2 scoops Vanilla or Chocolate VegaOne Protein Powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 dates
  • 4 TBSL chia seeds
  • 3 large spoonfuls nut butter of choice
  • 2 cups nut milk of choice


Blend it up and pour it in molds!  Freeze. Eat. Amazing.
